Product Information of Product Category Technical equipment management, Test houses / Certification Bodies ES-300 serves as test-signal generator for ECG impulsesE 24.08.2009 The ES-300 serves as test-signal generator for ECG impulses. These ECG impulses can be used for the functional test of the signal-representation and signal-evaluation of ECG monitors. Furthermore, the extended ECG functionality can be tested over respiration-function with apnoea-alarm-control.
The execution of a signal-output can be done with the PC-Software. The results of the signal- representation can be determined, assessed and stored then.
PC software can be used for flexible output of the offered waveforms. Consequently, integration into complex test instructions and into automatic test-sequences is possible. For that reason a high-quality documentation of the signal-representation and signal-evaluation of an ECG appliance is possible.
By the as far as possible freely configurable and variable ECG signal forms a large variety of signal sequences can be brought to the output. The simulation of arrhythmic signal forms offers the possibility to test more complex devices in accordance with a standard.
The generation of the calibration impulse CAL and ANE after IEC 60601-2-51:2003 enables practical operating function-controls for manufacturers and examiners.

In accordance with the instructions of the manufacturer of such surgical devices, the user can measure the high-frequency voltage, as well as the high-frequency output power, the high-frequency peak voltage and the high-frequency leakage current given on a load resistor. The load resistor is adjustable from 25 – 3175 Ohm in steps of 25 Ohm. The test parameters can laid down in a test instruction a can be tested automatically with a PC. This makes it possible to reduce the time for testing. In the use as multi functional test device the measured values were displayed directly. For example:
HF – voltage TRMS
HF – output power TRMS
HF – current TRMS
HF – peak voltage
Crest factor
HF – leakage current
High-frequency power:
During the measurement of power, firstly the software sets the prescribed load resistance in a range from 25 W to 3175 W. Than the high-frequency power can be sending to the HF-300 and is measured. An automatic rage switcher takes care of the optimal control of the rms-converter. The rms converter operates on a thermal conversion principle and, together with the driver module, is designed for frequencies up to 10 MHz.
High-frequency leakage current:
The high-frequency leakage current is measured through a 200 Ohm load resistor. During this test the active electrode is connected with the neutral electrode through a load resistor of 350 Ohm. Other load resistor is adjustable.

HF-Analyzer HF-400 24.08.2009 Description of functions:
HF-400 serves to test the function of electrosurgery units. In accordance to the instructions of the manufacturer of such surgical devices, the user can measure the HF output power and the HF leakage current given on a load resistor. The load resistor is adjustable to 10 Ohm and from 25 – 6375 Ohm in steps of 25 Ohm. The test parameters for testing can laid down in a test instruction and can be tested automatically with a PC. This makes it possible to reduce the time for testing. In the use as multi functional test device the measured values were displayed directly. For example:
HF output power
HF leakage current
HF output power:
During the measurement of power, firstly the software sets the prescribed load resistance to 10 Ohm or from 25 Ohm to 6375 Ohm in 25 Ohm steps. Than the HF output power can be send to the HF-400 and is measured. An automatic range switcher takes care of the optimal control of the RMS-converter. Infusion Pump Tester IN-300 24.08.2009 Description of functions:
The IN-300 serves for the functional testing of infusion pumps such as syringe pumps, roller (volumetric) pumps, peristalsis (finger) pumps and the like.
The IN-300 can makes measurements at 4 pumps at the same time
The ACTIMED Testing Program can perform single-channel measurements. In such cases, this program carries out fully automatic testing of the measurement parameters, in the sequence set forth of the selected test regulation. The measured values are rated with plus (+) or minus (-), and will be stored as a test record.
The measurement parameters:
Feed rate (volumetric)
Switch-off pressure
Bolus Volume
Function of the nurse´s call contacts
Measurement principle for feed-rate measurements
Measurement of the feed-rate is based on a volumetric principle in which a 0.5 ml measuring chamber is cyclically and alternately filled and emtied. From the time required for filling the measuring chamber, the system calcultates the feed rate with a precision of ± 1% within the measuring range of 1… 1000 ml/h. The IN-300 displays a new arithmetic mean after each filling of the measuring chamber.
The duration of measurement is in accordance with the stipulations contained in the test step selected by the operator. In order to achieve the measurement precision of 1% of the measured value given above in the technical data, at least 5 ml of measurement liquid must be pumped by syringe pumps and at least 25 ml by discontinous pumps (peristalsis pumps and the like).
Switch-off pressure
The IN-300 determines the switch-off pressure by closing the entry valve, which produces artificial stenosis.
When the switch-off pressure is reached, the infusion pump triggers an alarm, and the system stops the feed of infusion liquid. Continuous measurement of the input pressure at the IN-300 enables determining the maximum pressure, which is then recorded as the switch-off pressure of the pump.
If the input pressure exceeds 2.5 bar, the system automatically opens the valves and stops the measurement.
Bolus volume
The bolus volume is defined as the volume of liquid, which leaves the infusion tube after the switch-off pressure is reached and the stenosis valve is opend. The system measures this volume immediately after the stenosis valve is opened.
