We designed and developed a small laboratory clinical chemistry analyzer with spectrophotometric
and ion selective electrode based analysis capability.
Major challenges included:
• Minimizing carryover on robotic specimen and reagent handling probes, and
• Designing fluidics, refrigeration and heating control to achieve stable high precision measurements.
