Each time you perform a test you are gathering information that shows you and your healthcare professional how well you are managing your diabetes. Over time these results form a picture that becomes part of your medical record and provides the basis for decisions that impact on your health.
It is therefore important that these results be recorded either into a diary or onto a PC before they are lost.
When using the G5 meter, the result is recorded onto a memory card. Unlike other meters this result is never erased, giving you the comfort of knowing your test history is recorded permanently. Memory cards may be reviewed using the meter or transferred to a PC at your convenience. If you don’t have access to a PC your memory cards will keep all your data safe until you do.
