The CORIONIK CM 2.0 is an ultrasonic cardiotocograph for antepartum or intrapartum fetal monitoring by external method. A built-in thermal dot matrix printer prints the scale diagram and the monitoring register continuosly and simultaneously with:
- the fetal heart rate (FHR) by ultrasound method (external)
- Uterine contractions by tocodynamometer (toco)
- Fetal movements by patient event marker (patient switch)
- Sound stimulation event
- External FHR channel for twin monitoring (see example register)
The CORIONIK CM2.0 monitor has a built-in serial interface to link to another CM2.0 monitor providing a second FHR channel allowing simultaneous printing with all others parameters. This allows twin monitoring. This interface also allows PC or monitoring central link. It also includes stress test by sound stimulation which is particularly useful in health centers with too many patients to avoid hospitalization or to reduce monitoring time. It is fully portable due to its construction, size and weight.
